SHJH supports the right of Town Citizens to vote for or against the Comp Plan adopted by the Town Council on May 8. We applaud the volunteers who are circulating the petition for a referendum. It says:
“We, the residents of the Town of Jackson in Teton County, Wyoming, hereby petition the Town for a Referendum enabling Town voters to cast their ballots for or aginst the new 2012 Jackson/Teton County Comprehensive Plan.”
It makes sense to us that Town citizens should be allowed to decide on this important document that will have a major impact on the way we live.
