Earlier this year a developer bought the rights to a project that is between the parking garage and the Center for the Arts in Jackson. He asked Town Council to approve an extension of his permit. To get that extension he agreed to keep the previously approved building height at 46 feet and agreed to set the 4th story back so it was not visible from the street. Now he is back asking to make the building height 50.5 feet and to make the 4th floor visible from the street. The building would already be one of the tallest buildings in Town, but that is not enough. We think one of the many talented architects in Town should be able to help them keep the building at 46 feet and keep the 4th story invisible from the street. Contact Town Council and ask them to make the developer keep his promise.
